Welcome to the First Zig Day in Southern Italy!
In collaboration with Study Room, who will be lending us the venue, we are proud to present:
I am thrilled to announce the first-ever Zig Day in Naples! As specified on the main event page, the focus of this event is to bring the Neapolitan systems programming community together to experience the Zig programming language and collaborate on cool projects.
The event is very beginner-friendly and will include an intro to the Zig programming language for anyone looking to get up to speed, this will be led by Loris Cro, VP of Community for the Zig Software Foundation.
We are also incredibly excited to confirm that Andrew Kelley, Zig’s creator, will be joining us in person!
Having both Andrew and Loris in the room is a unique opportunity to get your questions answered by the people shaping the future of systems programming.
The event will be held at Study Room Fuorigrotta.
To access the facility, the venue requires guests to become members of the Study Room cultural association. The membership fee is 5€, and you can register at the entrance when you arrive. If you are already a member, no further action is required and you can access the event for free.
For those who want to eat together, lunch will be at Pizzaioli Veraci Fuorigrotta, a local pizzeria with gluten-free options and a wide selection of traditional dishes.
The closest and most convenient station is Napoli Piazza Leopardi (Trenitalia). It is a 5-minute walk from the venue, and trains run approximately every 30 minutes.
Paid parking is available immediately adjacent to the Study Room building.
Please sign up for the event via Luma.
